General objective
The company’s general objective is its consolidation and sustainable development, so that it becomes one of the most important competitors on the regional market for metal fabrications, through the continuous expansion of its activity in the sector of manufacturing metal structures and parts of metal structures.
The purpose of the project is also to purchase complex, high-tech and automated equipment and machinery that will enable the company to manufacture high-quality metal structures and parts of metal structures and that will lead to the improvement and greater efficiency of the current production flow.
Specific objectives and expected results
- Expansion of the manufacture of metal structures for construction and their components, by equipping the company with 11 new machines: 1 sheet-metal folding machine, 1 mechanical guillotine shear, 1 combination shear, 1 hydraulic press brake, 1 hydraulic plate-rolling machine, 3 overhead cranes, 1 automatic welding line, 1 automatic shot-blasting, painting and drying line (including with heat pumps) and 1 automatic cutting line;
- Measures to improve environmental quality and increase energy efficiency, by installing a photovoltaic system;
- Measures to make it easier for persons with disabilities to operate the equipment – 2 assistive devices: 1 portable video magnifier and 1 assistive text-zoom software;
- Creation of sustainable jobs by hiring 24 new employees, of whom at least 8 (at least 30% of the total number of newly created jobs) will be persons from a disadvantaged group and at least 8 (at least 30%) will be persons coming from economic activities in an industry/economic sector directly affected by the transformation process in the context of the just transition in the targeted territories, with a view to hiring at least one person with the necessary skills from the occupational category of plant and machine operators and assemblers;
- Training measures – induction, qualification, requalification, upskilling and specialisation, with national recognition, for the persons employed in the jobs newly created as a result of the investment – for 5 newly hired persons;
- Information and publicity measures to promote the project and the company and to ensure the project’s visibility;
- Strengthening the company’s position on the metal fabrications market;
- Improving the quality of the products manufactured at the end of the investment project, thanks to the high technological performance of the newly purchased machinery.
